New Swap

Hey, no swaps this month? Are you kidding me? Well, we do have a Christmas Cookie exchange, but our Recipe Club is taking a Holiday otherwise. And, there were no Swaps planned. I’m slacking.

So anyway, I was visiting the blog of my friend and Designer Jackie McFarland and I got an idea. I think it’s a good one – how about ATCs for each of the months? I would like to create a calendar like Jackie’s for remembering dates and birthdays and such, and thought, her titles look an awful lot like ATCs.

If you would like to play along, make a set of ATCs for your chosen month for everyone playing. When we are done, we’ll have a card to remember our friends for each month of the year! We need to fill all the spots!!!

What are ATCs you ask – they are Artist Trading Cards – and they measure 2.5 x 3.5. Normally it doesn’t matter what the orientation of the card is, but for this Swap, let’s please make them horizontal – so all our titles are the same.

I will create a template for the calendar, and you can print it out and create it at your convenience. The ATCs will go at the top. I think it will be fun to have a perpetual calendar that all your friends have had a hand in creating! I am making a second one just for the store, so I signed up for two spots. If need be, we can start a second round. If you need yours bound, feel free to send your calendar or bring it when you turn it in, I now have a bind it all and can bind it for you!
