When it rains, does it pour?
Get out your umbrella, and make sure it’s a good one! This week we’ve dealt with a lot!
We had someone run down a power pole – power outages aren’t fun when your webmeister is valiantly trying to dial in and get your website up and running. Yeah, I hear the driver is okay – thank God. It’s also hard to work in the dark. Note to self – plug modem into the battery back up!
Unauthorized access to the store – hey, if you’re gonna saunter into the shop and just wander around, we’re grateful you didn’t take anything …. but hey, why not lock up on yer way out – like please! Okay, I know I should just be glad whoever didn’t rob us blind but SERIOUSLY!
Omigosh, just delays, delays, delays!
Anyway, we’re excited to let you know that we got a call from Priscilla at Core’dinations and 160 (180? – I really need to write stuff down) of the most amazing colors of cardstock are making their way to us. I can NOT wait to play with this stuff. And, I don’t know, we may need stepstools and ladders for every shopper, we’re stuffed to the gills, but we are already ordering new lines from Cosmo, Jenny Bowlin and BoBunny – can ya dig it? I mean we are maxxed out on room chicks!
You gotta get a feel for our digs, we are kinda like Dixie Chicks in that we crave WIDE OPEN SPACES, ya know? We have nice long six foot tables, ultra comfy croppin’ chairs… Not terribly relevant if you’re ordering online – just know that we always have you in mind and we’re always thinking of you.
Anyway, things come in threes and I can’t remember what the third TOTALLY off the track event was, oh yeah, my NEW gal went to MAY FEST on her way to her first day with me and GOT like an allergy or FOOD POISONING and just never even made it. POOR THING, wonderful impression – didn’t have my number. I was totally stood up, in the dark – it was power outage day! Anyway, I’m all about the second chances so she made it last night and we got some stuff done and today I got her a coney and a limeade and the Karma gals smiled on me and made me an extra by mistake (and I already had the tip ready – hehehe – I was smiling back!).
I am LOVING all your ADVICE, and your gritches, and applause – the FEEDBACK is amazing. Please keep it coming. We totally want to be your PLACE. It makes us feel AWESOME to provide a service to you. This biz is a dream come true. To get to play all day (okay it’s work but that’s totally a FOUR letter word) is awesome. I get to corral amazing talent, and I feel like I am lasso’in (spelling?) the moon and wading in a pool of stars!
