Ranger U or BUST!
I learned on Monday that I was accepted to RANGER U. I have thought about applying for 2 and a half years, and finally bit the bullet. After all, my mother told me NO at least a million times, I should be used to it. Ranger Ink has lots of GREAT info on their site, including information about the class… and a sneak peek at Tim Holtz' new ALTERATIONS line for SIZZIX – new DISTRESS ink colors, some new PEARLS, and Claudine has a new product coming out. I also saw something new for adding black and white accents – an enamel product. How fun is this going to be.
So anyway, can you even imagine my surprise at being ACCEPTED! So mom, I don't have a PhD yet, but I will be RANGER Certified. My poor husband was in the shower and I scared him silly, shrieking like a school girl. It went something like, NUH UH, OMG OMG OMG, NUH UH, is this for real???
I'm so excited. Ranger U is a three day program, where participants learn everything there is to know about everything Ranger from Tim Holtz, Claudine Hellmuth, and Suze Weinberg and many more excellent Ranger folks. I am thrilled to join the ranks of some of my FAVORITE artists, including Wendy Vecchi, Linda Cain, and Jennifer McGuire.
The thing I am most excited about is all the knowledge I'll be able to bring back to you. I know many of you have Ranger products, and I don't know nearly as much as I should, so you can have faith that over time, I will go over EVERYTHING I learn there.
To those of you who knew I was going and crossed your fingers, knelt in prayer, and wished me well … thank you, can you see the power there is in your positive thoughts!!! I am so thankful for your support and encouragement.
Now, it's back to work on CHA preparations. If you are attending the Super Show, I will be helping Pat Huntoon (Technique Junkies) while she does demos. I lucked into this – I volunteered and Pat said she would like my help – color me thrilled! Stop by and see us. Technique Junkies is really the best, I have been a susbcriber for YEARS and think Pat and her TURBO TEAM are just the best. I am pleased as punch that Pat is publishing a card I did for a guest design spot.
Overall, it's looking like a REALLY good year.

The FUN neva’ eva’ stops!!!
Well, as most of you know by now, if you clicked on the wonderful links in the tutorials and challenges – the webstore is gone! The website is also gone! ZOIKES, Scoob? What happened there man?
WAY TOO LONG A STORY … let’s leave it at the fact that we are BOUND and DETERMINED to give it a HAPPY ENDING. Croppinsville is getting the grand ole website she so rightfully deserves.
Anyway, it’s going to take us a while to get the site back up and running, but we promise it’s gonna be BIONIC, bigger, stronger, and better than ever before. Okay, the 95 plus hour work weeks are getting to me – I really wanna go home, curl up with my kitty and my blankee and watch reruns. LOL!
Nah – I have been scrapping with my customers and really having a good time and just trying not to worry. In the meantime, we’re going to keep you “Cropper’tained” in Croppinsville style – with all the fun things our Hometown Bloggin’ Crew has brewed up.
Think Summer Madness. Lotsa BLOG CANDY, contests, more Croppin’ Swaps, and general fun!!!
On the other front, we have some stamps in the DESIGN phase – we’re very excited. We’re also getting some stamps from some other favorite sources – Stampers Anonymous, Artistic Outpost, Just Rite … I discovered some old (not really old – just been out there) stamps designed by none other than Jenni Bowlin – and I just gotta order those because I am a HUGE fan…
So, in the words of Train (you know I’m a quotaholic by now, dontcha)- our little website is crooning to you “Don’t give up on me, I’m about to come alive.”
HUGS … MWAH … ‘Lub’ ya scrappers and stampers. Let us know if there’s anything we can do for you… ‘mmm still want my blankee.

I just wanted to take a couple late night minutes to thank some gals. They are the Hometown Bloggin’ Crew. One of my good friends Anna Banana was thanking ME for the Challenge and I was like RUH ROH – that’s not my doin’.
These gals are:
Cassie Larson
Janean Campbell
Jen Martakis
Nancy Leimer
Sherry Dobreski
Along the right side of our blog (some day you might be reading this old post and we may redo the blog – so pardon us if it moves) you’ll see the Blogging Crew. They all have fantastic blogs, well worth a trip!
Anyway, Jen is also my Resources Manager at Croppinsville, and she is FANTASTIC. Together these gals research games for y’all, prizes, contests and techniques. They coordinate with the designers and look over products and projects and do all kinds of fabulous work. Once upon a time I did the blog all by myself, but NOW Croppinsville is very much a team effort.
I also have a growing staff, in addition to the designers and bloggers, and they all make it a wonderful place to work and create. So when you spend time here (and $$) you are really contributing to the success of a fantastic place to be.
I’m thankful for them, for the designers, for the people who work for me, and for all of you who read the blog, visit the website (that still needs EVER so much work – please bare with us!!!) and just say the nicest things to us.
THANKS Y’ALL.
Y’all come back now, ya hear?
Oh, this was definitely posted by lil ole me – no help – so if it sounds a little discombobulated, it’s because I had no one proofread it or edit it, and my hubby’s calling me to bed. Workaholic, come to bed. Hey, are you coming? Yeah, baby, I’m almost there.
G’nite y’all!

From the Caring Bridge Journal…
Our sweet, precious Haley Brooke lost her battle with Cystic Fibrosis at 2:23 pm today, June 13th, 2008. Haley may not have made it to get her new lungs, but today she received the biggest pair of angel wings from her Lord and Savior.
We don’t have any arrangments to share with you at this time. We will post it as soon as things are settled and we have more details to tell you.
Rich, Jennifer and Brenna are doing as well as expected. This is a time for them to draw strength from each other. Please respect them at this time and do not call just continue to pray for them and offer your love and support when they come home.
For those who wish to make a donation to help with expenses you can make a deposit at RCB in Owasso at 96th St. and let them know it is for the Haley Palmer Memorial Fund.
Thank you to each of you and we will post again as soon as we can.
Sincerely,
The Palmer Family
Our Prayers and Our Love go out to the Palmers tonight…
