Wow! Look at the great samples from last month’s swap. Everyone did a great job with their chosen stamps!!! Getting to keep the stamp was only half the fun!!!
Check with the store or the blog to join a swap. Previous swaps have been, Take Ten (which included a free stamp), ATC, recipe cards, cupcake recipe cards, birthday calendars and many more. The June swap is a contact card trade. Let’s get to know each other! Make a rolodex card in your style with your info (name, e-mail, birthday, and your favorite supplies and/or scrappin’ goodies listed on it. Come by the store and use our rolodex die to create your cards. The number due will be based on the number of people that sign up. Sign up ends May 30 and the swap is due at the end of June. I can’t wait to get to know everyone better.

New Swap
Hey, no swaps this month? Are you kidding me? Well, we do have a Christmas Cookie exchange, but our Recipe Club is taking a Holiday otherwise. And, there were no Swaps planned. I’m slacking.
So anyway, I was visiting the blog of my friend and Designer Jackie McFarland and I got an idea. I think it’s a good one – how about ATCs for each of the months? I would like to create a calendar like Jackie’s for remembering dates and birthdays and such, and thought, her titles look an awful lot like ATCs.
If you would like to play along, make a set of ATCs for your chosen month for everyone playing. When we are done, we’ll have a card to remember our friends for each month of the year! We need to fill all the spots!!!
What are ATCs you ask – they are Artist Trading Cards – and they measure 2.5 x 3.5. Normally it doesn’t matter what the orientation of the card is, but for this Swap, let’s please make them horizontal – so all our titles are the same.

I will create a template for the calendar, and you can print it out and create it at your convenience. The ATCs will go at the top. I think it will be fun to have a perpetual calendar that all your friends have had a hand in creating! I am making a second one just for the store, so I signed up for two spots. If need be, we can start a second round. If you need yours bound, feel free to send your calendar or bring it when you turn it in, I now have a bind it all and can bind it for you!
