Wonderland
Alice in Wonderland "month" is coming!
Allie is short for ALICE! I LOVE Alice in Wonderland and I'm excited about the new movie coming out this weekend, but the traditional images and story will always be my favorite. If you love ALICE, you'll want to come celebrate with us in April, when the store turns TWO!
First class is below, and is a card class. Also upcoming in April is our SUITCASE class with Sara Hanlon, we have a few seats left for that. We'll also have a MAD HATTER crop complete with flamingos, tea and cake! We're adding details daily.
RSVP to reserve your spot or your kit for this class. Kits will be available following the class. You must prepay.
I will be away this weekend for a quick getaway before leaving for Ranger University next week. The store will be open, and we're still having crops. In store we have specials on Christmas and Valentines, and free magazines with every $25 purchase.

You bring your book and basic tool kit, we provide stamps, materials, supplies and more. $5 fee applies. We'll have a SHOW and TELL period, followed by the exploration of a new TECHNIQUE. We'll stamp, paint, cut, and more as we get our fingers INKY creating a one of a kind Altered Book!

TRINKETZ
Join us as we learn to use Tim's ideaology pieces and gorgeous papers and canvas to create one of a kind jewelry pieces. You will learn lots of different techniques, and go home with some finished pieces and more to play with.

Altered Book Club
Altered Book Club will return in MARCH and will kick off with a PLAY DAY.
Come join us ALL day March 27. Bring a book, and your art supplies.
We will break for lunch at 12:30 pm. You are welcome to bring a lunch, or join us at Doug's Grill. Some refreshments provided. Demos throughout the day.
CRICUT Party CROP
Bring your CRICUT and c'mon out to CROP the night away. Join us as we explore the many uses for this fabulous electronic BUG! We'll etch, stamp, make stencils, learn to cut printed material and more throughout the night. We'll provide stamps, materials, supplies and more. $5 crop fee applies. Any special supplies will be announced the month prior. This CROP takes place the 4th Saturday night of the month.
P.S. When bringing your cricut, don't forget your power cord or your mat, these are often left home!
NOTE: There will be no CRICUT crop in MARCH.
TIM HOLTZ style CROPPING
Join us each month for an ALTERED ART PARTY! We will create a special tag based on many of Tim's Technique Tutorials. We will also make cards, background pieces and many items suitable for scrapbooking. Bring your supplies and stay to CROP the night away. $10 Fee applies.
Throughout the night, croppers will receive a discount on all of our SIGNATURE Tim Holtz Products. All Tim's stamps and SIGNATURE tools will be available for your use!
This event takes place the 2nd Satuday night of each month at 6pm.

Taste of Collinsville
Coming September 24… (Thursday, 5:30 to 8:00 pm)
This is a fun, annual event. Lots of good food and small town fun. We’re also having a Silpada representative, and some great food catered in. And, of course, we’ll have some special sales.
Tim Holtz TWELVE TAGS of CHRISTMAS
You know these were great. Tim has given us "specific" permission to teach these tags. Done separately, some were frighteningly expensive. Join us as we design on a dime! We’re going to do a very affordable tag project – so you can try EVERY technique shown, and use each product, and add your own finishing touches. Do one tag, or do them all. Do them more than once. You’re only charged for what you choose to do.
OCTOBER SCHEDULE
OCTOBER 2, 3, and 4 – Sweet Retreat… Crop all weekend for $35. Your fee includes sweet surprises, a catered dinner Saturday night, and a 20% discount on all purchases. Bring a dessert or sweet treat to share. Space is limited.
October 10 – Tricks and Treats – Join us for Detailed Delights – turn simple projects into unique works of art. We will have you creating and embellishing some seasonal tags and cards. $5 – come and go as you please from 11 to 3. You will complete four simple projects.
October 17 – Design on a Dime Night – Bring in your old scrapbook papers and let us help you breath a little new life into them. We’ll scrap our way through 18 Sketches!!! We’ll begin at 2pm, break for PIZZA at 6 and then continue til 11pm. You provide the paper and pictures, we’ll walk you through the rest. $30 Cost includes the latest Scrapbooks Etc. and lots of embellishments, plus a LOT of one on one assistance, inexpensive tricks, and inspiration. Let’s catch up before the year runs away from us ENTIRELY!
October 24 – TWELVE TAGS of CHRISTMAS 08 – While we rock out to the sounds of Christmas, we will be learning all of Tim’s amazing techniques from Christmas 07. You will add your own finishing touches – embellishments are not included – but you will receive 20% off any Tim Holtz purchases. With each tag you will receive step by step color instructions, so you will be able to try each technique again. Cost – $40. Time – 1 to 5 pm. PRE-REGISTRATION is absolutely required so that we can have enough product, supplies, and instruction packs available.
October 31 – We will be open til 6 pm, but Collinsville is a small town with a lot happening. There will be no crop, but we will be passing out candy and having fun make and takes and face painting.
If you can not make it to a class or event, grab some friends, why not schedule your own event? We also do kids’ birthdays – from scrappy projects to messy make and takes – you provide the kids and we’ll provide the fun. We will gladly do a class for groups of 3 or more on just about any night, or a private weekend crop or retreat for groups of 6 or more – we can even provide cake and catering for a birthday celebration. We want your crop and class experience to be refreshing and fun. We want to teach you the things you would like to learn, and would enjoy most, so let us know what you’d like to do. It’s YOUR scrappin’ and stampin’ studio.
